Julian Lennon & James Scott Cook's song "Lucy" released to raise money & awareness for Lupus...

I'm so sorry to hear of Julian Lennon's loss of his dear friend Lucy Vodden who had Lupus. But at the same time I'm happy and encouraged to hear James's grandmother is still fighting the battle with Lupus 92 years later! Inspiring stuff.

This is just such an amazing song & all the proceeds raised go to the Lupus Foundation of America and the Lupus Trust in England. So PASS IT ON :) And you can help fight Lupus too!

  1. Hey Erin,
I noticed you haven't posted for awhile, and I hope you are ok. I had a period when I was too ill to think about getting on the computer, too. Sometimes I still do, but fortunately, ever since I began treatment it hasn't lasted long. Feel better, and know that a fellow lupie cares and understands.

  2. Hey Della!
I had quite a few years where writing became harder not only because of a foggy medicine headed Lupie, but my hands would draw up & I found trying on a computer next to impossible. I did my best to use social media to stay in touch with family & friends scattered across the globe but there's just so much one can do ehh? Seems I feel that pressing of time moreso than I ever did before my diagnosis, and I think it flung me into a writer's block of epic proportions! I've got a very intelligent phone that makes this all a lot more simple these days so I thought I would come log in & get to journaling again ♡ Hope you're still around here & we can keep in touch now. I have SO MUCH to catch up on it's going to take me ages to do so. Luckily free time to create is not a problem these days & so I'm "back in business" as they say!
    Blessings & love,
